I had a chance to read an article by Amber MacArthur in the Globe & Mail on a
new social media tool (Not, another one! Lol!) called Hashable.
Hashable is an easy way to tag your connections with people on Twitter. It’s a fun new way to track who you’re meeting with and introducing For example, if your meeting for lunch with a new colleague then send a tweet: “Having #Lunch with @centricity360 /cc @hashable”. In this case I’m having lunch for myself with myself, ok!?
The tool tracks the connections by activity (#lunch, #Intro, #JustMet etc) and by a Twitter handle or email address.
I’m beginning to vision how you could connect this to a back end CRM application to follow a client connection on Twitter, interesting!
Globe & Mail: So long business cards, hello Hashable!
